Two Artesia men were taken into custody Sunday in connection with a recent burglary in the 1000 block of Missouri Avenue.

Daryl S. Carson, 26, and Robert K. Hubbell, 25, were arrested Sunday following the execution of a search warrant at a residence in the 2500 block of West Grand Avenue.

Officers with the Artesia Police Department were able to locate stolen property relating to the burglary on Missouri, which the two individuals reportedly committed together.

The APD also located other stolen items in the possession of Carson, who, according to the report, admitted to occasionally buying “found” items from friends that he acknowledged were “probably stolen.”

Carson was charged with larceny, two counts of residential burglary, vehicle structure burglary (attempted forcible), receiving stolen property, and conspiracy. Hubbell was charged with larceny, residential burglary, vehicle structure burglary (attempted forcible) and conspiracy.
