The public is invited to listen in Wednesday and Thursday as the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Atomic Safety and Licensing Board conducts pre-hearing conference oral arguments regarding the Holtec International HI-STORY consolidated interim storage facility proposed for Southeast New Mexico.
The listen-only telephone line will be set up in Commission Chambers at the Eddy County Administration Complex, 101 W. Greene St., Carlsbad, and the City of Carlsbad will host a second venue at 101 N. Halagueno St.
The conference will be aired beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, and continue as necessary Thursday, Jan. 24.
