    Ryan Braun misses 2nd consecutive game with back stiffness

    MILWAUKEE (AP) — Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun missed his second consecutive game against the Chicago Cubs on Thursday because of back stiffness.

  • Correction: Fraternity-Racial Slurs story

    MADISON, Wis. (AP) — In a story May 18 about the suspension of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon chapter at the University of Wisconsin, The Associated Press reported erroneously that university documents did not say how a fraternity member was disciplined by the fraternity for an alleged assault of a black member. According to the documents, the member was suspended for the next three social events, was required to serve as a sober monitor for the three events after that, and was barred from a December formal.

    MILWAUKEE (AP) — In a story May 17 about the shooting of a 9-year-old girl in Milwaukee, The Associated Press, relying on information from the Milwaukee police, reported erroneously that Za’layia Jenkins was in her home when she was struck by a stray bullet May 5. Police now say that Za’layia was visiting extended family in the house where she was shot.
