    Wood survives late wobble, wins BMW PGA Championship

    VIRGINIA WATER, England (AP) — Chris Wood shot a front-nine 29 before overcoming a late run of bogeys to win the BMW PGA Championship by one stroke for the biggest victory of his career on Sunday, as overnight leader Scott Hend imploded in the final round.

    European Tour chief: Changes must be made to Wentworth

    VIRGINIA WATER, England (AP) — Significant improvements must be made to the West Course at Wentworth by its new Chinese owners if it is to continue hosting the European Tour’s flagship event, the head of the tour said Sunday.

    BENTON HARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Rocco Mediate shot an even-par 71 in tricky wind conditions Saturday in the Senior PGA Championship to take a two-stroke lead over two-time defending champion Colin Montgomerie into the final round.
