    Palat, Stralman lead Lightning past Penguins 6-3

    TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Ondrej Palat and Anton Stralman both scored twice, Tyler Johnson had a goal and two assists and the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 6-3 on Friday night for their eighth consecutive home win.

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Hassan Whiteside had 10 points, 10 rebounds and 10 blocked shots, and the Miami Heat came up with two key steals in the closing seconds of a 98-95 victory over the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night.

    NEW YORK (AP) — Joe Johnson had season highs with 27 points and 11 assists, and the Brooklyn Nets had their best offensive performance of the season in beating the Sacramento Kings 128-119 on Friday night.
