    MOSCOW (AP) — Russia’s state-owned gas company Gazprom has thrown its weight behind a rival to the renowned Dakar Rally as Russia flexes its muscles in the world of motorsport.

    Wilson understood, accepted risks of racing in IndyCar

    Justin Wilson was seriously injured in IndyCar crashes twice in a two-year span. Both times, the veteran driver returned to competition unwavering in his love for the sport and his acceptance of the risks.

    Lewis Hamilton wins Belgian Grand Prix ahead of Nico Rosberg

    SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS, Belgium (AP) — Lewis Hamilton won the Belgian Grand Prix on Sunday from pole, easily holding off Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg and padding his lead in the Formula One championship standings.

    Lewis Hamilton tops final practice at Belgian Grand Prix

    SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS, Belgium (AP) — Lewis Hamilton topped Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg on Saturday in qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix, becoming the first driver in 14 years to take six consecutive pole positions.

    Belgian GP: McLarens start at back of grid for engine change

    SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS, Belgium (AP) — The McLaren team has been given a combined 55-place grid penalty for changing the engine ahead of the Belgian Grand Prix.

    Rosberg tops Hamilton in Mercedes 1-2 in Belgian GP practice
