    SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (AP) — Mexico scored nine runs in the first inning to eliminate Australia from the Little League World Series, winning 14-3 in four innings on Monday.

    SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (AP) — Pinch-hitter Fukutaro Kiyomiya homered in the bottom of the fifth inning, and Tokyo pitchers Nobuyuki Kawashima and Daiki Fukuyama shut down Mexicali Baja California, Mexico, in a 3-1 victory Sunday in the Little League World Series.

    Edmondson throws no-hitter, hits homer for South Carolina

    SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (AP) — Alex Edmondson threw his second no-hitter in eight days and hit a two-run homer in the first inning to help Taylors, South Carolina, beat Cranston, Rhode Island, 7-1 on Friday in the state’s first ever victory in the Little League World Series.

    Zargoza singles home Leon, Mexico beats Canada 1-0 in LLWS

    SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (AP) — Daniel Zaragoza singled home Raul Leon in the bottom of the sixth inning to give Mexico a 1-0 victory over Canada in their opening game Friday in the Little League World Series.
