    Mariners fire general manager Jack Zduriencik

    SEATTLE (AP) — A year to the day after praising Jack Zduriencik as he was rewarded with a contract extension, Seattle Mariners President Kevin Mather found himself speaking with ownership this week on all the areas he believed the club was lacking.

    Wilson says he did not have a concussion in NFC title game

    RENTON, Wash. (AP) — Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson said Thursday he did not suffer a concussion in the NFC championship game against Green Bay, a day after comments in an article in Rolling Stone indicated Wilson may have suffered a head injury.
