    OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Eric Sogard hit a tiebreaking two-run single as part of a seven-run seventh inning and the Oakland Athletics withstood another blown late lead by their bullpen to beat the Tampa Bay Rays 8-2 on Sunday.

    A’s relievers blow another lead in 5-4 loss to Rays

    OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — For the fifth time this season, Oakland ace Sonny Gray left the mound with a lead only to see it gone before he had a chance to relax in the clubhouse.

    Cabrera doubles in 2 in 9th as Rays beat A’s 5-4

    OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Asdrubal Cabrera hit a two-run double in the ninth inning and the Tampa Bay Rays rallied to beat the Oakland Athletics 5-4 on Saturday night.
