    Greinke solid but Diamondbacks lose late to Rockies

    PHOENIX (AP) — Brad Ziegler has been as effective a closer as the Arizona Diamondbacks have had in recent years, with 33 consecutive save chances converted and six straight scoreless appearances.

    Story drives in three in Rockies’ win over Diamondbacks

    PHOENIX (AP) — Trevor Story’s two-run triple in the top of the ninth inning broke a tie, and the Colorado Rockies beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-2 on Saturday night.

    De La Rosa strikes out 10, Diamondbacks beat Cardinals 3-0

    PHOENIX (AP) — Rubby De La Rosa struck out a career-high 10 and pitched two-hit ball through seven innings, Chris Herrmann and Brandon Drury homered and the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the St. Louis Cardinals 3-0 on Thursday night.
