AG: Ex-Milwaukee officers investigate fatal police shooting

MILWAUKEE (AP) — In a story Aug. 22 about a fatal police shooting in Milwaukee, The Associated Press incorrectly reported that the Wisconsin Department of Justice is required by state law to investigate officer-involved shootings. The law, in fact, requires an investigation by at least two individuals outside of the police agency involved, which may or may not include the state Department of Justice.
