    Sano, Twins stave off another sweep with 7-5 win over Royals

    MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Miguel Sano hit the go-ahead two-run home run in the fifth inning after Minnesota lost an early lead, and the Twins staved off another series sweep Wednesday by beating the Kansas City Royals 7-5.

    Perez, surging Royals take down Twins 7-4

    MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Salvador Perez hit a two-run homer, Lorenzo Cain had four hits and two RBIs, and the Kansas City Royals picked up where their bats left off the night before while beating the tumbling Minnesota Twins 7-4 on Tuesday.
