• Rio Paralympics reaches 20 percent of tickets sold

    RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) — Nearly 80 percent of the tickets for next month’s Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro remain unsold, but sales have increased sharply since the end of the Olympics, organizers said on Wednesday.

    Brazil court tells US swimmers Lochte, Feigen to stay put

    RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) — Two Olympic swimmers were taken off their flight from Brazil to the U.S. on Wednesday by local authorities amid an investigation into a reported robbery targeting Ryan Lochte and his teammates.
