    RED DEER, Alberta (AP) — Matthew Tkachuk scored his second goal of the game 7:49 into overtime to give the London Knights a 3-2 victory over the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies on Sunday in the Memorial Cup championship game.

    Rouyn-Noranda beats Red Deer 3-1 to reach Memorial Cup final

    RED DEER, Alberta (AP) — Francis Perron and Martins Dzierkals scored in a 1:07 span midway through the first period and the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies beat the host Red Deer Rebels 3-1 on Friday night in the Memorial Cup semifinal.

    TORONTO (AP) — Canada’s central bank said Wednesday the Canadian economy will shrink in the second quarter because of Alberta’s devastating wildfires, which shut down its oil sands production.
