F1 will invite companies to bid to become sole tire supplier

MONACO (AP) — Formula One’s governing body has invited companies to bid to become the sole supplier of F1 tires for a three-year period starting in 2017.

Palestinians complain to FIFA over detained player

JERUSALEM (AP) — The head of the Palestine Football Association has complained to FIFA that one of its players was detained by Israel, an incident he says illustrates his demand that the Israelis be suspended.
