Clarissa Derrick and Cassandra Witherspoon, center, surrounded by family and friends, and members of the Artesia Chamber of Commerce and Artesia Trailblazers, celebrate the grand reopening of longtime downtown business Martha’s Fabrics Saturday afternoon with a ribbon cutting. Martha’s, now Martha’s Fabric Shop and Boutique, has expanded its inventory to include clothing, jewelry and home décor and remains located at 316 W. Main St. As part of the grand reopening, “Miss Artesia” Madison Willingham, fifth from left, and Alana Willingham, fourth from left, were on hand to model fashions from the shop’s clothing collection.
