A trio of Eddy County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) deputies were promoted Thursday to the department’s detective division.
Chief Deputy Mark Cage had the honor of promoting Det. Daniela Rios, Det. Raul Martinez and Det. Jared Rostro to the division effective Aug. 1.
Cage said the promotion process was stringent, with applicants required to show their knowledge of the law as well as criminal procedures.
Cage and Sheriff Scott London congratulate the detectives on their promotion.
