Pecos Diamond is offering a special incentive this year to patrons who donate to Grand Heights Early Childhood Center’s annual Cpl. D. Robert Harvey Thirst Responders Drive.
The annual drive, named in honor of Harvey, son of Grand Heights teacher Diana Harvey, who was killed in 2009 by a drunk driver while on duty with the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Department, collects water and Gatorade for donation to the Artesia Police and Fire Departments, the Eddy County Sheriff’s Office, the New Mexico State Police, and the Atoka and Riverside Volunteer Fire Departments.
Now through Sunday, May 15, Pecos Diamond will offer any diner donating four cases of water a free seven-ounce New York strip dinner, complete with salad bar and a drink.
