Joe E. Gutierrez, 79, of Artesia, found guilty of DWI (first offense). Sentenced to one day in ECDC. Total fines and fees $241. A charge of failure to dim headlamps was dismissed.
Valentin Gutierrez, 35, of Artesia, scheduled to appear for a pretrial hearing May 4 on charges of resisting, evading or obstructing an officer; for preliminary examination on charges of larceny and non-residential burglary; for preliminary examination on charges of battery against a household member, breaking and entering, and criminal trespass; and for pretrial conference on charges of concealing identity, no seatbelt, and open container.
Robert Hubbell, 26, of Artesia, scheduled to appear for preliminary examination May 18 on charges of possession of a controlled substance, to wit: methamphetamine.
Erasmo Valencia, 49, of Artesia, scheduled to appear for preliminary examination May 4 on charges of possession of a controlled substance, to wit: methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Timothy J. Colvin, 25, of Carlsbad, found guilty of driving on a suspended license. Sentenced to 15 days in ECDC. Total fines and fees $331.
David William Cosgray, 53, of Carlsbad, found guilty of driving on a revoked license. Sentenced to 60 days in ECDC. Total fines and fees $431.
Lorenzo Lopez, 25, of Roswell, found guilty of driving on a suspended license and no proof of insurance. Total fines and fees $592.
Charges of DWI, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding, and expired registration dismissed without prejudice against Corina Briseno, 44, of Artesia.
