A Carlsbad woman is in custody following an investigation into narcotics trafficking by agents with the Pecos Valley Drug Task Force (PVDTF).
The PVDTF executed a search warrant Tuesday at 707 N. Second St. in Carlsbad. The subject of the investigation, 34-year-old Lori L. Kirkpatrick, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, mushrooms, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and surveillance equipment.
Kirkpatrick faces charges of meth trafficking, possession of marijuana, mushrooms and drug paraphernalia, and child abuse.
The case remains under investigation, and anyone with information concerning Kirkpatrick and her activities is urged to contact the PVDTF at 575-887-5194 or through Facebook at facebook.com/pvdtf.
The PVDTF is comprised of officers with the Eddy County Sheriff’s Office, Carlsbad Police Department and Artesia Police Department, and is part of the HIDTA Region VI Drug Task Force.
