Emergency crews respond Wednesday evening to the scene of a three-vehicle accident at the intersection of U.S. 285 and Fairgrounds Road just south of Artesia. According to witnesses, at least one person was transported to Artesia General Hospital with injuries. The New Mexico State Police were in charge of the investigation. No details were available as of press time.
