Light Up Artesia is less than two weeks away! This year’s event will be held from 4-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3. Santa will be taking holiday requests at the Artesia Public Library this year. He’ll start hearing those Christmas lists at 4 p.m. until he needs to hop on his sleigh in the Parade of Lights.

The parade will start at 5:30 p.m. at Bulldog Bowl and will drop Santa back off at the library to continue his post. Parents, be sure to bring your own camera or phone – you’ll be able to take free photos of the kiddos with Santa.

Downtown merchants will offer great promotions for all of your holiday shopping, and other individuals will set up outdoor booths with hot chocolate, food and crafts. Join us as Main Street becomes a winter wonderland and twinkles with thousands of lights. Shop, stroll and eat to kick off the holiday season!

Parade of Lights applications are still available. Contact MainStreet or visit our website to download an application.
