Richard Franco, 26, of Artesia, bound over to district court on two counts of failure to register as a sex offender.
Charges of being a fugitive from justice were dismissed due to no governor’s warrant filed within the 90—day period against Rebecca B. Price, 22, of Carlsbad.
David G. Hammond, 51, of Artesia, found guilty of two counts of resisting, evading or obstructing an officer. Sentenced to 180 days of unsupervised probation. Total fines and fees $226.
Rachelle Johnson, 32, of Artesia, found guilty of abandonment of a child. Sentenced to 180 days of unsupervised probation. Total fines and fees $123.
Brittney Nicole Luna, 24, of Artesia, scheduled to appear for sentencing Dec. 16 on charges of battery upon a household member.
Dominic N. Chavez, 20, of Artesia, found guilty of shoplifting and minor in possession of alcoholic beverages (second offense). Sentenced to 90 days in ECDC and 120 days of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $576.
Marcelino Medina, 21, of Artesia, found guilty of two counts of resisting, evading or obstructing an officer, driving on a suspended license, two counts of use or possession of drug paraphernalia, turn signal required, unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon, and tampering with evidence. Sentenced to 638 days of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $991.
Ricky Ray Kirkman, 55, of Roswell, scheduled to appear Jan. 13 for pretrial conference on charges of
