Hungry Artesians greeted by pancake mascots
From left, Charlie Chip, Susie Strawberry and Bonnie Blueberry pose with happy customers Lindsey and Chris Wiles outside Artesia’s new IHOP location this morning. “The experience, the food and the service were good… we will be back!” said the Wiles. The restaurant opened its doors today at 101 S. First St. with customers already waiting at the door. A total of 200 hungry patrons had visited the location by lunchtime. During its probationary period, the restaurant will be open from 5 a.m. – 11 p.m. daily. It will transition to a 24-hour location beginning Aug. 26.
