EDDY COUNTY — Crime Stoppers of Eddy County is seeking the public’s assistance in solving a homicide that was discovered Friday near Artesia.

At approximately 10:30 a.m. Friday, Eddy County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) deputies were dispatched to the area of East Kincaid Ranch and North Lake roads south of Artesia in reference to the body of a female found near an oilfield lease road.

The woman has been identified as Stevi Kathleen Odom-Lynch, and deputies say there is evidence of foul play in her death.
