For the first time in 71 years, the W.W. “Mack” Brazel UFO crash site will be open to the public.

The inaugural UFO 1947 Crash Tour event will run in conjunction with the Roswell UFO Festival in July. Crash-site tours will be available July 5-9, running twice per day to the original Mack Brazel crash site and homestead. Tickets are limited for this exclusive tour.

The Bogle family’s working ranch (Bogle Ltd.) houses the crash site and has never been open to public tours in the past. Their dedication to agriculture and resource cultivation has been the priority, but this year, the family approved the tour and hopes festival-goers will enjoy their time at the site. In lieu of the event, the Bogle sisters honed their expertise in marketing, advertising and event planning to launch “L.A.M.B.,” the company behind the crash tour.

“We’re working side by side with the UFO Festival and local businesses to feature yet another fun, educational and exciting event to an already thriving economic resource for our community,” said Lauren Bogle, COO of L.A.M.B. “The entire experience will showcase the culture of New Mexico and our ranching heritage through fun activities, food, souvenirs and experiences while on the tour.”

There will be two ticket options for attendees. VIP tickets ($250) include a meal of authentic New Mexican cuisine, interactive activities on-site, an exclusive tour of Brazel’s ranch house, with drop-off directly to the crash-site via SUV. General admission tickets ($65) include a bus-ride group experience with a short walk to the crash site.

Both VIP and general admission ticket-holders will be picked up from the Roswell Mall (4501 N Main St.) to be transported to the crash site. More information (FAQ, tickets and itinerary) can be found online at www.ufo1947crashtour.com.

Interested attendees will be required to register online at the above website.
