LONDON (AP) — Wrestling’s governing body has “reacted well” and made the necessary changes to give the sport a chance of saving its place in the Olympics, IOC President Jacques Rogge said.

New wrestling rules used in LA exhibition

LOS ANGELES (AP) — American Jordan Oliver had a late takedown to beat Russia’s Magomed Kurbanaliev in the opening match Sunday in United 4 Wrestling, a three-team exhibition at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena.
