Police: Parents who killed selves, kids feared apocalypse

SPRINGVILLE, Utah (AP) — A Utah couple and their three children who were found dead in their home last fall overdosed on drugs after the parents told friends and family they were worried about the apocalypse, authorities said Tuesday.

Real Salt Lake’s Plata to undergo surgery on broken foot

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Real Salt Lake forward Joao Plata is scheduled to have surgery to repair a broken bone in his left foot, the team announced Monday. He is expected to be out three to four months.
