NEW YORK (AP) — The New York Knicks snapped their 16-game losing streak Monday, getting 24 points and nine rebounds from Carmelo Anthony to beat the short-handed New Orleans Pelicans 99-92.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Philadelphia 76ers are halfway through a forgettable season. They lost 17 straight to start the season, but had stabilized somewhat of late and entered Monday’s game having split their last six games.
