PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — NASCAR driver Austin Theriault’s car is sporting a Maine-themed paint job in the blue and white colors of the state’s flagship university.

Sheriff: Investigation of Stewart crash complete

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. (AP) — An upstate New York sheriff says he has completed his investigation into the death of a driver struck by NASCAR champion Tony Stewart during a sprint car race last month. The district attorney will announce late next week whether Stewart will face any charges.

Johnson feeling ‘much better’ after dehydration

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Jimmie Johnson said the cooling system for his helmet was blowing warm air and that likely caused his dehydration following last week’s race at Richmond.
