Patrick Kane is back for Chicago. Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals are back in the playoffs after a one-year break. And the Montreal Canadiens feel as if they’ve been in this position before against Ottawa, and it’s not a good memory for the Habs.

UND’s MacMillan signs contract with NHL’s Montreal Canadiens

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — University of North Dakota senior hockey forward Mark MacMillan has signed a two-year entry-level contract with the NHL’s Montreal Canadiens.

Dynamo end scoring drought, beat Impact 3-0

HOUSTON (AP) — Giles Barnes opened the scoring early and the Houston Dynamo added two insurance goals late in the second half to beat the Montreal Impact 3-0 on Saturday night.
