BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Livonia High School’s football and baseball teams have been sanctioned by the Louisiana High School Athletic Association for each allowing an ineligible transfer student to play in the past academic year.

Woman sues Reds pitcher Simon, alleges sex assault

A woman has filed a lawsuit alleging that Cincinnati Reds pitcher Alfredo Simon sexually assaulted her in a Washington hotel when the team was in town to play the Nationals.
