TV deal will expand KU athletics coverage

LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) — The University of Kansas has approved a deal for television rights to its athletic events that will vastly expand coverage and access to Jayhawks sports across Kansas and nationwide, according to officials involved in the deal.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) — Athletic director Bubba Cunningham saw North Carolina win a pair of NCAA championships this season and earn recognition as the nation’s best women’s athletic program. Now he’s looking ahead to facility upgrades that could include changes to the home of the Tar Heels’ men’s basketball team.
