Former coach Henson out of hospital, starting chemotherapy

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) — Former Illinois and New Mexico State basketball coach Lou Henson has been released from a Texas hospital and is scheduled to soon begin chemotherapy treatments, according to his wife.

Young’s 3-run shot lifts Yankees to 3-2 win over Astros

HOUSTON (AP) — Chris Young had a go-ahead, three-run homer among three more hits in his hometown, lifting the New York Yankees to a 3-2 win over the Houston Astros on Friday night.
