    DEL MAR, Calif. (AP) — Beholder ran away with the Grade 1 Clement L. Hirsch Stakes on Saturday at Del Mar, beating Yahilwa by seven lengths in the $300,000 race for fillies and mares.

    American Pharoah has final Haskell tuneup

    OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) — Triple Crown winner American Pharoah had another easy gallop Saturday morning at Monmouth Park, his final serious exercise before the $1.75 million Haskell Invitational.

    TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — The horse racing industry will be focused on New Jersey this weekend, as Triple Crown winner American Pharaoh runs in the $1.75 million Haskell Invitational at Monmouth Park.

    OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) — Triple Crown winner American Pharoah had an enthusiastic rooting section as he galloped Friday morning in preparation for the $1.75 million Haskell Invitational.
