Calhoun stays unbeaten in AAA football title game

ATLANTA (AP) — Calhoun scored on a 40-yard double-reverse pass from Baylon Spector to Carson Brown early in the fourth quarter and defeated Washington County, 27-20, to win the Georgia High School Association Class AAA state football title on Friday night at the Georgia Dome.

Haynesville 16, Mangham 0 for Class 1A title

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Two first-quarter touchdowns proved to be the difference as Haynesville defeated Mangham, 16-0 in the 2014 Allstate Sugar Bowl/LHSAA Class 1A State Championship game Friday night in New Orleans.
