NIMES, France (AP) — Alexander Kristoff of Norway captured his second stage win of this year’s Tour de France by leading home a pack that overtook two breakaway riders with only about 50 meters to go in a dramatic finish to Stage 15 on Sunday.

RISOUL, France (AP) — Panting hard with his jersey unzipped and wide open in the heat, Polish rider Rafal Majka sped to a solo breakaway victory on Stage 14 as the Tour de France wrapped up its foray in the Alps on Saturday.

WADA welcomes Armstrong meeting with cycling panel

LONDON (AP) — Lance Armstrong’s meeting with an independent panel investigating cycling’s doping past was welcomed by the World Anti-Doping Agency on Friday as a positive step in getting to the bottom of the drug culture which ravaged the sport.
