LONDON (AP) — Marcel Kittel has led a sprint to win the 3rd stage of the Tour de France as cycling’s greatest race entered London for its last leg in England before crossing the English Channel to France.

LONDON (AP) — It may be as French as camembert, but the Tour de France is coming to London. Almost 200 speeding cyclists are set to race past the city’s greatest landmarks, from the Tower of London to the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace.

SHEFFIELD, England (AP) — Italy’s Vincenzo Nibali displayed his riding smarts at the Tour de France, winning Stage 2 on Sunday and taking the yellow jersey after a well-choreographed attack on rivals in the postindustrial English city known for “The Full Monty.”

YORK, England (AP) — British sprinter Mark Cavendish pulled out of the Tour de France on Sunday with a serious shoulder injury likely to require surgery.
