Reputed Mafioso tip triggers new Hoffa body search

OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — The FBI saw enough merit in a reputed Mafia captain’s tip to once again break out the digging equipment to search for the remains of former Teamsters union leader Jimmy Hoffa, last seen alive before a lunch meeting with two mobsters nearly 40 years ago.

NM man in kidnapping case stopped by mom arraigned

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — A New Mexico man accused in a kidnapping that police say was interrupted when the 4-year-old girl’s mother gave chase and rammed the suspect’s car has pleaded not guilty.

Bieber behind wheel as car hits man in Hollywood

NM ex-officer pleads no contact in prostitute case

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — A former Albuquerque police officer caught on camera in uniform offering to help a prostitute in exchange for sex has pleaded no contest to an ethic charges.
