Marshall sports ran 2013 deficit, WVU netted $4.2M

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — A state legislative audit says Marshall University athletics ran a $749,800 deficit in 2013 and used $7.9 million subsidized by sources like state money and tuition.
