CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) — Jim Kelly still has good days and bad days, health-wise. He insists that he feels the effects of prayers, even those offered by people he will never meet. His fingers are crossed that an MRI exam scheduled for next week will provide more good signs.

MIAMI (AP) — Chris Bosh had 26 points and 15 rebounds, Norris Cole scored a career-high 23 points after winning Miami’s starting point-guard job, and the Heat opened the post-LeBron James era with a 107-95 win over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night.
