BELO HORIZONTE, Brazil (AP) — Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari apologized to fans for failing to lead the host to the World Cup final, saying the “catastrophic” defeat to Germany on Tuesday marked the “worst day” of his professional life.

BELO HORIZONTE, Brazil (AP) — With Neymar out and Brazil’s forwards ineffective throughout the World Cup, it will be up to the team’s defenders and midfielders to keep Brazil in contention at the World Cup.
