Benatia will travel to Munich soon to undergo a medical and is expected to sign a five-year contract. Bayern says it has agreed with Roma not to disclose the terms of the deal. But Italian media reports say Roma was asking between €25 million (US $32.98 million) and €30 million for the defender. FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) — Despite predicting that his injury-hit team would struggle in the first half of the season, Pep Guardiola’s Bayern Munich got off to a winning start in its bid to win a third consecutive Bundesliga title.
