PHOENIX (AP) — Complaining that Jodi Arias’ sensational murder case has become a modern-day “witch trial,” her lawyers tried to quit in the middle of the death-penalty phase Monday, then said they will call only one witness: Arias.

PHOENIX (AP) — Steven Alexander stood before the jury, looked up at a family picture and grimaced and cried as he ticked off the list of problems that have befallen him in the five years since his brother was murdered: ulcers, depression, a separation from his wife, nightmares.

PHOENIX (AP) — Jurors deciding whether convicted murderer Jodi Arias will get the death penalty heard the victim’s brother describe Thursday how he was hospitalized for ulcers, lost sleep and separated from his wife after his brother was killed.

Arias back in court as jury ponders death option

PHOENIX (AP) — The same jury that convicted Jodi Arias of murder one week ago took about three hours Wednesday to determine that the former waitress is eligible for the death penalty in the stabbing and shooting death of her one-time lover in his bathroom five years ago.
