Coyotes broadcaster charged with assault in casino incident

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Arizona Coyotes radio analyst Nick Boynton has been hit with several charges, including assault and resisting arrest, after authorities say he became belligerent at the casino in Buffalo and bit the hand of an officer trying to subdue the former NHL defensemen.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Sam Gagner scored 56 seconds into overtime to lift the Arizona Coyotes to a 4-3 win over Buffalo on Thursday night, earning cheers from the last-place Sabres’ fans hoping to get the No. 1 overall pick in the NHL draft.

AP source: Hurley agrees to new contract at Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Bobby Hurley has agreed to a new contract with the University at Buffalo that will make him the Mid-American Conference’s highest paid men’s basketball coach, a person familiar with negotiations told The Associated Press on Wednesday.
