TORONTO (AP) — Detroit Pistons guard Brandon Jennings will miss the rest of the season after he ruptured his left Achilles tendon.

Whiteside active for Heat; Dunleavy sidelined for Bulls

Blazers’ Aldridge puts thumb surgery on hold, scores 26

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — In a span of just 48 hours, LaMarcus Aldridge resigned himself to thumb surgery, reversed himself and decided to play through the pain, then led the Portland Trail Blazers to victory over the Washington Wizards.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — LaMarcus Aldridge returned to the Trail Blazers two days after saying he was going to have thumb surgery and had 26 points and nine rebounds in a Portland’s 103-96 victory over the Washington Wizards on Saturday night.
