Kalkaska County recreational trail upgraded

KALKASKA, Mich. (AP) — The Michigan Department of Natural Resources says improvements have been completed along the Kalkaska Route, which includes Snowmobile Trail No. 79 in northeastern Kalkaska County.

POKLJUKA, Slovenia (AP) — Anton Shipulin of Russia sprinted away from three rivals to win a 15-kilometer mass-start race for his second biathlon World Cup victory in three days on Sunday, while Kaisa Makarainen of Finland won the women’s event.
