ARTESIA — Brittany Herring took first-place prize money and a Stan Smith Ultimate saddle from Cactus April 24-26 at the Fifth Annual Joe’s Boot Shop Roping in Clovis. ARTESIA — George Tomochak stays alert, ready to step in if necessary during the bull riding clinic conducted by Adriano Moraes this weekend at the Artesia Horse Council Arena. Tomochak recently began bullfighting and was a welcome aid to the young riders participating in the clinic.
