NEW YORK (AP) — Carmelo Anthony scored 30 points, including a tiebreaking three-point play with 13.9 seconds left, and the New York Knicks overcame a 10-point deficit late in the third quarter to beat the Washington Wizards 103-100 on Wednesday night.

BOSTON (AP) — Rookie Marcus Smart scored 16 points and Jared Sullinger had 15 with 17 rebounds to lead the Boston Celtics to a 100-86 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night in the final preseason game for both teams.
