FLETC Improvements for FY2001

![]() The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center continues to see improvements to the facility at a staggering rate. Above is the addition to the weight room at the Physical Training building. The $3.9 million expansion to the PT building is expected to be completed in July 2001. ![]() Workers continue construction of the new dormitory that is also scheduled to be completed in July 2001. The dormitory carries a price tag of $12.6 million, $200,000 of which was used for the already completed student laundry facility. ![]() A new running track was recently completed at the FLETC. The track came at a cost of $186,000 and was completed in January. ![]() This is the rear addition to the PT building. The addition will add mat rooms that are used for physical techniques and defensive tactics classes at the FLETC. ![]() Bricklayers work diligently to construct the east wall of the new FLETC indoor-outdoor baffled firing ranges. The huge complex will be approximately 69,300 square feet and comes at a price of $1.8 million. ![]() Bricklayers continue to build the walls of the new dormitory. After more than 10 years, the former College of Artesia has been transformed into one of the best law enforcement training centers in the world. With more than $60 million in future federal funding, the face of the FLETC will continue to change. |
