Andy Grado

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at First United Methodist Church for Andres “Andy” Grado of Artesia.

Grado, 30, passed away Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, in Lubbock, Texas.

Interment will take place at South Lawn Cemetery in Tucson, Ariz.

Andy was born April 28, 1988, in Tucson to Manuel and Alma (Maytorena) Grado.

He was a freestyle artist, keyboard player, and life philosopher. Andy enjoyed endless hours of sketching; even a napkin became his canvas. In his earlier years, he was a punk rocker skater kid and later in life began to learn the rancher’s life out in Hope.

He had a heart of gold and a willingness to help anyone and everyone.
